SP003 - The Swallow

A talisman for success and prosperity

In China, as in Europe, the Swallow is the herald of spring. In Chinese mythology the Swallow is an emblem of success, happiness and children. A flight of swallows is an especially good omen. The arrival of swallows & their nest building, whether in a home or place of business, is a sign of approaching success and prosperity. The Swallow talisman can be used to attract good fortune.

The design of this talisman is derived from ancient Chinese calligraphy from c .2000 BC.

The pendant is cast in lead-free pewter, coated in copper, then nickel, then silver. Hand-polished and lacquered to prevent tarnishing.
