perri cutten proposal

The Perri Cutten proposal explores a contemporary capsule collection that reinterprets the brand’s identity through sculptural forms, fabric manipulation and considered garment construction. Inspired by architectural structures, particularly the flowing shapes of the Sydney Opera House, and experimental techniques from Pattern Magic, the concept explores how folding can become a key element of garment design rather than simply a construction method. The collection combines structured silhouettes with softer, feminine details, using cotton drill and satin to create contrast in texture, shape and finish. Developed for Perri Cutten’s mature, style-conscious customer, the proposal brings together brand research, material experimentation and garment development to create a collection that balances the brand’s established identity with a more directional approach to fashion design.
